Network of trails to Prčice

Take the trails that take you to Prčice during the famous march, and discover the breathtaking landscape around the town of Sedlec-Prčice any day of the year. You will get acquainted with local attractions and, last but not least, you will refresh yourself in pubs along the way. All roads lead to Prčice!

The trails to Prčice include four routes from the surrounding towns, from which, in addition to Prague, excursionists traditionally go to Sedlec-Prčice. At the end of your trip, don't forget to take a picture with the legendary statue of Prčický škrpál on Vítkov náměstí.

1. Go to Prčice ... from Tábor

We set off from the railway station in Tábor towards Chotoviny and the valley of the Košín brook with many bends. Along the way you will visit Borotín Castle, views around Střezimíř and the town of Sedlec-Prčice with the famous statue of Prčice scalp. Due to transport accessibility, we recommend extending the march to the train to Heřmaničky.

2. Mladovožická route to Prčice

  • On the Mladovožická route, you walk through the rugged landscape of Bohemian Siberia over hills with distant views
  • You can stay in several guesthouses in Sedlec-Prčice, have good food and sleep
  • From Sedlec-Prčice you can continue on foot along the yellow road to Heřmaničky, from where a train will take you to Tábor (5 km)
  • You can connect your journey with another route to Prčice - Táborská (from there by train by bus to Mladá Vožice)

3. Sedlčanská "Robinova" route to Prčice

  • On the Sedlčany route you walk through a hilly landscape with many views.
  • The bus will take you back to Sedlčany on weekdays and Sundays.

  • From Sedlec Prčice you can continue along the next branch of the Trails to Prčice: to Tábor, Milevsko, Střezimíř or Mladá Vožice.

4. Milevská route to Prčice

  • On the Milevská route you walk through the Czech sacral landscape of sunken villages and green valleys - the route partly copies one of the Toulava Pilgrimage Routes
  • You can stay in several guesthouses in Sedlec-Prčice, have good food and sleep
